A word on pricing: I consider my pricing to be fair and reasonable, on par with a quality furniture store but at a fraction for which an antique would retail.  While my work is bench made, by hand, using antique period tools and techniques to add detail and embellish the piece, I don’t price my work as a piece of art, although I can say that some people have commented that they think it is.  Similar items could vary in price to a higher or lower degree depending on the choice of wood, hardware and how the piece might be modified.  Prices do not include 5% Maine sales tax.  Delivery within the area is a nominal fee and shipping out of the area can easily be arranged.  Call for a no charge estimate.  I guarantee my work and I furthermore guarantee my work is 100% made in Maine.
